Senior Account Manager / Pietermaritzburg / Permanent / Full Time / Non EE/AA

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

1. Maximize And Measure Sales Performance

• Position the value proposition based on customer and consumer needs
• Gain commitment through constructive selling and negotiation
• Use performance dashboards to identify execution focus areas
• Deliver product availability/ revenue targets
• Produce by Increasing Sales to Existing Accounts
• Increase the company's footprint by selling new products into new verticals
• Grow Existing base of customers by opening New Accounts for the company

2. Customer Relationship Management

• Effective Customer Onboarding
• Build and sustain mutually beneficial relationships
• Engage with key decision makers, merchant staff, consumers and shoppers
• Use market insights to influence customer behaviour

3. Planning

• Manage the territory and identify opportunities
• Joint business planning and annual planning
• Sales planning; Track and evaluate results
• Understand insights from multiple data sources
• Market data and information-based decisions

4. Business and Sales Strategy

• Understand the business strategy and the value chain
• Understand and interpret financial information
• Use commercial drivers to deliver winning solutions
• Manage expenditure against the budget and Manage forecast

Desired experience and Qualifications:

Post Matric qualification or Graduate from an accredited college

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• +10years Sales experience
• Ability to meet financial targets and goals
• Proven Ability to meet targets and call on new customers and business verticals
• Proven Sales Track Record
• Ability to canvass new markets and areas
• Own Vehicle
• Results driven and customer focused
